As the only breeding stallion of Michael Poulin’s famous ‘91Dressage Grand Prix Horse of the Year, Watch Me, Winston brings the ability to sire beautiful movers who love to perform in any arena with style and grace.

Winston’s performance in the eventing World with International Rider Ralph Hill took him to Camino Real CCI* and successfully through many difficult obstacles at the intermediate level without one single cross country fault. 

 

Winston stands 16.3 hands tall, very correct, with plenty of bone.  A great cross with thoroughbred-type mares to create the ultimate sport horse.  He possesses tremendous power, scope and charisma with a kind, very willing and honest disposition-an absolute dream to ride and handle!

 

Winston is owned by Susan Resh of Merritt Island, Florida.  Susan has graciously allowed Winston to semi retire from the upper level eventing and concentrate more on his breeding, we are so proud to have this talented Stallion standing at stud for Up and Over Farm.

Independence Day

Indy, close to 17 hands now,  started his event career with just 90 days under saddle by winning the 4 year old young event horse class at Rocking Horse Stables in Oct. 2005. Two weeks later he placed 5th in Open Novice at the Ocala Horse trials out of over 40 competitors. He has now completed two other Novice events moved to Training level and zipped through that. Indy continued through Prelim with International Rider Ralph Hill. Since Ralph’s accident Indy has been now shown by Ivy Ledonne and continues to score well.

Win n’ Spirit

Our own “Spirit” has had our heart since the day she was born.  Spirit has been started slowly and began her show career last year winning her first combined test and wowing everyone in the hunter rings.  She will be showing more and moving to more challenging courses this year.  NOTE:  Spirit just place 4th in her first recognized event at Full Gallop Farm! Spirit has proven to be smart, learning quickly and giving her all when asked to perform a new task.  She has a great need to please and loves to be with people.

Shannon bought this gelding in 2007 because her husband always wanted a “Roman” of his own.  He has the same sensible outlook as his half brother, is a beautiful mover, and has very nice bone.  She writes “We couldn’t be more thrilled to have found him for my husband to event and foxhunt on.”

His fluid movements brought winning dressage scores followed by a phenomenal jumping ability in the show jumping arena and his power, desire and athletic ability took him through the cross country courses without fail.

Winston passes the qualities that took him to these advanced levels along with endowing a beautiful top line, plenty of bone and beautiful muscling to his offspring His foals are now entering the eventing world and performing brilliantly.  Independence Day streaked though to prelim level with Ralph Hill and continues on now with Ivy Ledonne, Win n’ Spirit and Shea Drinkard are following right behind and are in possession of a presence of royalty in the show arena.  His foals have his work ethic and are found to be extremely trainable and willing, their ease of movement and presence make them a show stopper.
